Programs and Events

The Office of Student Activities coordinates more than 120 programs a year (often in partnership with student groups and other departments on campus). We ask all students to use their student ID to swipe in at events so we can make sure we’re putting on the right kinds of programs and providing engaging experiences for all students.

Weekly Program Series

These are events that happen every single week at the same time! Topics and themes change each week so there’s always something new to try. Check the calendar to see what’s happening this week or just show up and try something new!

Wellness Wednesdays

Every Wednesday from 4:00-6:00pm, usually in the Lower Atrium of Hicks Center (be sure to check the calendar to see this week’s location and topic)!
This series is all about encouraging you and showing you how to take care of yourself! Event topics range from arts and crafts to games and open mics.

Game Nights (Fridays)

Friday nights are game nights on campus! Starting at 9pm, usually in Hicks Banquet Halls, grab your friends and head over for an evening of epic battles, intense strategy, and pure gaming joy. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or just looking for a good time, our Game Nights offer the perfect escape every week! (Game Nights are occasionally replaced with Zoo Flicks; a movie night with free popcorn and beverages.)

Zoo After Darks (Saturdays)

Every Saturday from 9:00pm-12:00am, usually in Hicks Center (be sure to check the calendar to see this week’s location and topic) .
This is our signature series where anything could happen! Event topics range from sports and competitions to live performances and cultural fairs. No matter the event, this is the place to be on a Saturday night, even if just to check it out and grab some food!
